Oliver Wesseloh started the Kehrwieder Kreativbrauerei with the Prototyp, a strong and cold-hopped lager. The Hamburg Style Lager "Prototyp" was not only the first beer of the Kehrwieder Kreativbrauerei, but the first of its kind in Germany and has since become the "prototype" for a new beer style. It is a strong, cold-hopped lager that is aged for seven weeks with two aroma hops, developing its unique flavor and fruity aroma. It combines the lightness of a Pilsner with the fruitiness of a Pale Ale. Naturally unfiltered and unpasteurized. Brewed by the former world champion sommeliers for beer.
The prototype has a golden color with a fine orange tinge, clear fruity notes penetrate the nose and remind of passion fruit mixed with fine herbs. The prototype is slender and elegant in the mouth, fine flavors of mango, passion fruit and orange in combination with mild honey convince. Refreshingly different, compared to many a new ale.
